Survey: Facts Drive Iran Deal Opposition
‘The More Americans Learn About Key Details Within The Iran Agreement, The Less They Like It’
NEW YORK – Secure America Now released fresh survey findings today revealing broad American opposition to key details of the nuclear deal with Iran. The survey of 800 likely general election voters shows strong majorities who oppose the billions in Iranian sanction relief and the lack of independent U.S. inspections included in the agreement.
“It’s abundantly clear that the more Americans learn about key details within the Iran agreement, the less they like it,” said Pat Caddell, pollster and Advisor to President Carter and other major Democrats. “And opposition to the deal is growing as the facts work their way into kitchen table conversations across the country.”
Poll Background: The national poll of 800 likely general election voters was conducted on July 22nd & 23rd by McLaughlin & Associates and Caddell Associates.
