John McLaughlinJohn McLaughlin has worked professionally as a strategic consultant and pollster for over 30 years. During this time he has earned a reputation for helping some of America’s most successful corporations and winning some of the toughest elections in the nation. His political clients have included former Presidential candidates Steve Forbes and Fred Thompson, former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Georgia Governor Nathan Deal and 22 current and former U.S. Senators and 20 current Republican members of Congress.

John has appeared on every major broadcast and cable channel, as well as prominent radio talk shows across America. His articles have been published in a wide range of publications including National Review, Middle East Quarterly, Campaigns and Elections, and The Polling Report.
His work has been recognized by winning Telly and PR Week Campaign Awards.
John is a graduate of Fordham College (B.A) and holds an M.B.A. from Fordham University with concentrations in Finance and Quantitative Methods. He is also a member of MENSA.

Mr. McLaughlin has a wide range of political experience, having personally managed political campaigns as well as business and marketing campaigns. His expertise as a former campaign manager gives him special insights on political survey research and how it can best be applied into a key element of a winning campaign. He has worked on campaigns at virtually every level of American politics, and was recognized by Campaigns and Elections magazine as one the “Rising Stars” in American politics.
Mr. McLaughlin has been called a “Big Winner” by a leading political magazine for his work on some of the top races in the country. McLaughlin was one of only two Republican pollsters named as a part of Roll Call Newspapers’ Fabulous Fifty for his work and was also profiled as a “Mover and Shaker” by Campaigns and Elections Magazine. Mr. McLaughlin has worked on some of the top races in the country. During this past election cycle, he helped to elect President Donald J. Trump and McLaughlin & Associates helped win 5 of the 10 toughest congressional races in the country according to one respected publication. Stuart PolkSince 1995, Stuart Polk has helped McLaughlin & Associates guide political campaigns to victory and has assisted organizations and corporations develop successful public opinion strategies.
Stuart has over 18-years of polling and strategic consulting experience on all campaign levels – presidential, federal, state and local. In addition to directly servicing individual campaigns, he has managed polling projects with multiple races for federal and state independent expenditures.
Beyond his political experience, Stuart has conducted market research and provided strategy for various associations and corporate clients, including: Allstate, American Express, Anheuser-Busch, CTIA The Wireless Association, MyWireless.org, National Association of Manufacturers, and Rackspace.
Stuart earned his B.A. from Union College in Political Science. He graduated with Honors in Political Science and as a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society.
Keith ZeigSince joining McLaughlin & Associates in 2002, Keith Zeig has been an integral part of McLaughlin & Associates', Keith has participated in numerous corporate and political campaigns.
Keith was involved with the successful federal campaigns of Congressman Barbara Comstock (VA-10), Congressman Peter King (NY-3), Congressman Lee Zeldin (NY- 1), Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-25), Congressman Buddy Carter (Ga-1), Congressman Mike Rogers (AL-3), and Congressman Robert Aderholt (AL-4). Keith has also worked very closely with the Alabama Republican Party, as well as the National Republican Congressional Committee and the New York State Senate Republican Campaign Committee.
In addition to his political experience, Keith has done public opinion research and strategy for corporate clients such as Verizon Communications, Public Concepts and the New York Jets.
As Executive Director, Keith oversees the day to day operations at McLaughlin & Associates and serves as a liaison to the firm's clientele.
Mr. Zeig attended Ramapo College of New Jersey earning his B.A. in Political Science in 2002 and currently lives in Tappan New York, with his wife Kelli and two children.
Marianne CampbellMarianne Campbell has been associated with McLaughlin & Associates since 1995 and currently serves as Media Director . Ms. Campbell has overseen the placement of over $100 million in political media throughout markets in all fifty states and is responsible for the development of media buying strategy, planning, and placement.

Marianne Campbell holds an M.S. degree from Fordham University in New York. She completed her undergraduate studies and received a B.A. from the College of New Rochelle.
Brian LarkinBrian Larkin joined McLaughlin & Associates in 2001 and has risen to become an important asset for our clients and runs McLaughlin & Associates' qualitative research programs. As Director of Qualitative Research, Brian has gained a strong reputation for providing quality focus groups and in-depth research. He has developed in-person and online focus groups for corporate, non-profit and political clients across the United States. Significant research has been conducted bilingually in Spanish and English. Brian is known as an effective and unbiased group moderator and analyst.

Over the years at McLaughlin & Associates, Brian has been involved with campaigns from the local level to the Presidential level. Brian played a key role California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's special recall election victory in October of 2003, his reelection in 2006 and in his Proposition 57 and Proposition 58 victories in March of 2004. More recently, Brian has worked with the One Campaign, the National Parks Conservation Association and numerous congressional campaigns.
Before joining McLaughlin & Associates, Brian Larkin spent two years working for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, from 1996 - 1998. At the NRSC, Brian worked in the finance department with both low and high dollar donor programs. After working in Washington, Brian came back to New York to work on both statewide and regional political campaigns. Later, Brian took a position with Forbes Magazine. In this position Brian worked to develop the content of the conferences for the Forbes Magazine's Conference Group.
Brian is a 1996 graduate of Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts. At Wheaton, he studied Political Science and English Literature.
Margie FilsAs Director of Operations at McLaughlin & Associates, Margie is located at the company's main office in Blauvelt, NY. She serves as manager for all of the day to day financial activity necessary in maintaining the business dynamics of McLaughlin & Associates. Any financial management decision or question from clients is most often administered by Margie. She is responsible for payroll, accounts receivable and payable. Margie has risen in responsibility and has put her comprehensive administrative management to work for us since 2001.

Before joining McLaughlin & Associates Margie worked for one of the world's largest risk management companies for 14 years.
Margie and her husband Pierre reside in Spring Valley, NY with their three children, Pierre Jr, Adonis and Chontel.
Rob SchmidtSince joining the team in 2011, Rob has been an asset to McLaughlin & Associates and has been steadily making his way up the ranks. Rob has already been a part of over 100 local, statewide and federal campaigns.
Director of Washington D.C. Operations
Rob is currently Director of DC Operations and is based out of our Old Town office in Alexandria, Virginia where he the main point of contact for clients in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
In addition to managing all aspects of survey research projects, Rob serves as one of our key strategists. He personally advises members of Congress, state legislators and a host of corporate and non-profit entities on communications strategy, message development, voter targeting, analytics and television, radio, digital and direct mail advertising. Rob also plays an integral role in research and development, where he primarily handles projects - including Internet and social media studies – which target audiences that are becoming increasingly harder to reach.
Most recently, Rob served as pollster for Believe Again, a PAC that supported Governor Bobby Jindal’s presidential campaign. In 2014, Rob worked on the re-election campaigns of Georgia’s Governor Nathan Deal and Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle, both of whom won decisively with a broad coalition of support, particularly with non-traditional Republican voters. Rob has also been a part of several nationally targeted congressional campaigns, including those of Carlos Curbelo (FL-26) and David Jolly (FL-13).
On the state level, Rob has worked very closely with the Alabama House and Senate Republican Caucuses to expand their supermajorities in the State Legislature. Over the past two election cycles, Rob has also worked with the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) and with Citizens Alliance of Pennsylvania (CAP) on highly targeted legislative seats. Other committees Rob has advised include the National Republican Campaign Committee (NRCC), the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC), the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) and the American Conservative Union (ACU).
Corporate and non-profit clients for Rob include Amazon, Anheuser-Busch, the Business Council of Alabama (BCA), the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), U.S. Sugar, Florida Crystals and the Mosaic Company. Rob also has an extensive background working on school choice initiatives, having helped pass Georgia’s Charter School Amendment in 2012. Rob continues to advise clients such as the Foundation for Excellence in Education (ExcelinEd), the American Federation for Children, Georgia Leads and StudentsFirst on expanding school choice programs throughout the country.
Rob holds a B.A. in Political Science from Marist College and was Marist’s 2011 Baccalaureate recipient for “Excellence in Political Science.” As an undergraduate, Rob worked in various capacities for the Marist Institute for Public Opinion. Rob is also a graduate of the Hansard Scholars Programme, where he served as an intern for a Member of the British Parliament and attended the London School of Economics and Political Science.
