In Georgia, Governor Nathan Deal won in a landslide victory over two primary challengers with 72% of the vote.
Jack Kingston decisively made the Georgia Senate runoff, finishing better than media polls had forecast in this close race.
Incumbent Congressman Doug Collins won his primary In Georgia’s 9th Congressional District, with an overwhelming victory of 80%.
Buddy Carter placed first in a crowded primary field in Georgia’s 1st Congressional District with a very strong 36% of the vote, leading his closest opponent by 13 points heading into the runoff.
In Pennsylvania State Senate District 28, Scott Wagner carried 85% of the vote after an unprecedented write-in campaign to fill the vacancy for this seat.
In Pennsylvania State House District 66, Chris Dush’s message as a conservative outsider helped put him over the top and capture 51% of the vote.
